What You Will Do The Director of Learning Centers and Training will be directly accountable for the financial growth and operational success of the multiple centers in our portfolio.
We have eight centers in the Chicagoland area and three in Orange County, California.
This position will:
Provide training, direction and guidance to our team of Center Directors/Managers and their teams.
Ensure effective site operations through proactive practices, following company policies and procedures, and the Mathnasium Method.
Drive quality and consistency of the customer experience, maximizing customer acquisition and retention.
This role will develop talent and inspire a team that is focused on creating customer loyalty.
Create accountability and provide recognition in order to achieve and exceed business performance goals.
Maintain and foster effective communication with the Managing Director and our Director of Operations.
Primary Objectives Understanding the company mission, the needs of our families and translate that understanding into managing a remarkable Mathnasium center.
Strategic planning; evaluate center KPI's and implement effective measures to drive sales, improve team performance, and enhance parent satisfaction.
Fiscal management of the centers, including achieving top line revenue targets and managing labor according to company expectations.
Recruit, select, coach and develop talent on an individual level, create succession plans for each center, and support continued growth of the company.
Mentor and develop team members in the areas of leadership, customer service and sales.
Collaborate with Center Directors in identifying and participating in local marketing events and fostering collaborative relationships with local schools and organizations.
Perform operational and administrative functions to support the center as required.
Essential Talents & Required Skills Minimum 3
years of related multi-unit experience with a strong focus on building relationships, developing teams, and creating future leaders in a growing company.
Bachelor's degree in a general business management field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Candidates should possess consultative sales skills which include:
rapport building, active listening, assessing customer needs, overcoming conversational objections and closing.
Highly organized; managing multiple, concurrent priorities/projects with accuracy and sense of urgency; plan and work under own initiative.
Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to analyze/interpret business reports and statistics, as well as write reports and business correspondence.
Self-starter with strong organizational, written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends with local and occasional out of state travel.

Base - $55,000 to $75,000 (based on experience)
Bonus (which is currently estimated at $2,000 to $3,000 per month).
